3. How is perspective used in the overall composition? What type of perspective is used and how does it enhance the composition and/or the transition between steps?
Perspective in the overall composition is used by allowing the letter to be the focal point. I believe that Isometric Perspective is used in this project. It assists greatly in creating movement of the images between transitions. Great job!
2. What type of balance is used in the metamorphosis and what is the point of focus? Does either change between the steps or do they remain the same throughout the steps? Be specific in answers.
The point of focus is the letter. The background changes, but the focus is on the letter K. I found the balance off on the first, eventhough, it works. The balance changes through out the metamorphosis. I think it was balanced on picture D. All the steps show change throught the piece. I found it very balance in color too.
5. What do you think of the quality of the design and composition?
Is there enough contrast between each of the seven images to get a true feeling of chromatic metamorphosis, explain?
If not also explain.
The quality of the design and composition is simple, straightforward and works very well.
Chromatic metamorphosis is largely achieved by changing the underlying background colors and the color of the initial K letter from image to image. The background image starts with hearts only and ends with clouds only. The images between them have a combination of hearts and clouds with the opacity of the clouds increasing and the hearts decreasing from image to image. The letter K is moved from the left lower corner to the right upper corner. The texture of the fill for the letter K is also changed from image to image. As a result there is significant contrast between each image and you get a true feeling of chromatic metamorphosis as described below.
For the first image, the background color is pale yellow and the K letter is pale blue. Both colors complement the other. The background image is of a series of hearts. The K letter is position in the lower left corner.
For the second image, the background color is pale green and the K letter is a combination of blue, yellow and green with some texture. The background image is of a series of hearts colored blue. The K letter is moved to the right and upward.
For the third image, the background color is a bright green and the K letter is a combination of yellow, blue and green with some texture. The background image is of a series of hearts and clouds colored pale green. The K letter is again moved to the right and upward.
For the fourth image, the background color is a dark green and the K letter is a combination of green and yellow with more texture than the previous image. The background image is of a series of hearts and clouds colored dark green. The K letter is again moved to the right and upward.
For the fifth image, the background color is a light sea green and the K letter is a combination of green and yellow with more texture than the previous image. The background image is of a series of hearts and clouds colored light sea green. The K letter is again moved to the right and upward.
For the sixth image, the background color is a pale blue and the K letter is a combination of blue and yellow texture. The background image is of a series of hearts and clouds colored pale blue. The K letter is again moved to the right and upward.
For the seventh image, the background color is a dark blue and the K letter is a combination of dark blue, pale blue and yellow texture. The background image is of a clouds colored pale blue and the hearts no longer appear in the background. The K letter is again moved to the right and upward.
As described above there is considerable contrast between the seven images achieved by changing background colors and textures, the position of the K letter, the color and texture of the K letter. These changes give a true feeling of chromatic metamorphosis.
The quality and design of the composition was excellent.

4. Describe what is potentially happening between the steps. How effective is the continuity between the seven steps, explain? If the continuity is not effective why is it not working?
Between the steps the K is flying towards the opposite corner of the image as the colors change and the image becomes completely different. I believe you did it in a very effective manner. The colors flow really nicely together and the K goes smoothly to the other corner. The background also changes, but in a very subtle way. Great job!

1. Name three ways using color enhances the chromatic metamorphosis from sequence to sequence?
By using color enhances on each image it made the metamorphosis look alive with using bright colors. Also the colors brought out different faces the character’s was making which showed a metamorphosis. Finally, what really brought to my attention was the bright colors he used to show the moods in the character’s metamorphosis. For instance, on the hair how it changes on every image to show a difference in the character’s did alot for the metamorphosism.
